I cannot diagnose your problem. Based on my training and experience with clients that have this problem, the doctor would sign an order for physical activity, compression stockings, and or devices that actively squeeze the fluid out of the tissues.

It is important to be under the care of a doctor because diuretics can be prescribed to alleviate some of the edema. Infections are common and wounds need to be treated with antibiotics. This is a problem not to be taken lightly.
